Statistics show that India has more people suffering from chronic hunger than any other country. Over 300 million of its citizens reportedly go to bed without food every night, representing over a third of the estimated one billion hungry people across the world. One-third of the world's malnourished children are in India.

We in cities waste nearly 30% of the ready food and most of it ends up in the trash cans .Hunger Free India is an initiative taken by Hunger Free Movement Foundation to fight poverty and hunger in india. By taking small steps like collecting excess foods out of parties and functions, thousands of poor and hungry children can be fed in a day.

India’s ‘Hunger Free Movement Foundation’ includes both under developed rural areas and heavily populated urban ones. In an attempt to address both, Hunger Free Movement Foundation is currently working with children and their families in the urban slums of all over INDIA
